Anderson Preserve:
One acre located within Olympia city limits above Henderson Blvd., just south of Interstate 5.
Donated in 1999.

The property contains large Douglas Fir, hemlock and maple trees, a variety of native undergrowth, and is notable for its urban setting. The property is impacted by freeway noise, but provides habitat for a variety of species of birds and other wildlife.

The forest is the poor man's overcoat.
