Olli Conservation Easement:
59 Acres west of Shelton in Mason County.
Conserved in 2008.

The Olli Property is located in a historically rural / agricultural area, close to Shelton and Hwy 101, which is undergoing a gradual conversion to residential uses. The Property was a dairy in the early 20th century, and the barn on the property was recently added to the historic register. The Property has been in the landowner’s family since the mid-20th century.

Permanently conserved are riparian areas, floodplain, agricultural fields, and deciduous and coniferous forests that collectively provide valuable habitat for a variety of important species. The Property contains portions of a spring-fed tributary to Goldsborough Creek.  Goldsborough Creek is a stream of regional importance for salmon production.

The Wilderness and the idea of wilderness is one of the permanent homes of the human spirit.
