Stephens Preserve:
22 Acres adjacent to the west side of Woodard Creek.  Donated in 2002.

The property’s stream system is used by coho and chum salmon and sea-run cutthroat trout. The stream channel is bordered by a wide flood plain wetland. Excellent habitat is present, consisting of a dense, diverse structure of deciduous shrubs and trees. Moderate-aged conifer forest covers the majority of upland ground, and mature cedar occur on the slopes nearest the creek corridor.

The ultimate test of man's conscience may be his willingness to sacrifice something today for future generations whose words of thanks will not be heard.
